Hollister is in the middle of its move within the Fox River Mall. It’s slated to reopen Friday. The clothing brand’s longstanding store in the J.C. Penney wing closed last week. Its new spot is in the central corridor, next to Victoria’s Secret. The store sells its own jeans and clothing for teens.

Shopko Optical signed up for another location in the Fox Cities in addition to relocations mentioned in last week’s Buzz column. The newest spot will be 123 N. Mall Drive in Grand Chute, in the same building as Chipotle. The space it’s taking was previously Compete Nutrition. It will open in November.

Jiffy Lube submitted a site plan for the redevelopment of a property at 3203 W. College Ave., which is mid-block between the Clarion Inn (formerly known as the Best Western Midway or the Midway Motor Lodge) on its east side, and Badger State Staffing and Les Stumpf’s used car lot to the west.

The long, narrow site includes a property behind it. Before the Grand Chute oil change/service station can start demolition and construction, it needs to get special exception approvals and a zoning variance.

Kimberly Nail Salon will have its grand opening Oct. 1 with promotions running for month of October. The new salon is at 819 Schefhout Lane, in the multi-tenant shopping plaza south of Anduzzi’s.

Owner Andrew Graf said the salon has specialty pedicure and manicure services, online booking and a discount for students from Kimberly High School across the street.

Urban Leaf CBD is slated to open Oct. 1 at 1000 W. Wisconsin Ave., a multi-tenant strip mall that includes HoneyBaked Ham and Min Du Buffet in Appleton.

Owner Rose Lee said the shop will have CBD oils, tinctures, topicals, edibles, skincare and makeup. CBD, or cannabidiol, is derived from the hemp plant and is used to ease anxiety, insomnia and pain.

Products in the shop contain less than the legal limit of 0.3 percent TNC, or no THC at all, she said. TNC is the component of cannabis that produces a high and is not legal in Wisconsin over 0.3 percent.

We study the effects of cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive component of cannabis that does not produce the high associated with smoking or using it."There is a lot of debate on the health effects of marijuana and the use of cannabinoids, which are a group of compounds found in marijuana that have anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, anti-nausea and anti-emetic properties. However, there is a lack of solid scientific evidence to guide us in the application of cannabis therapeutics."
