KopSun LLC will be teaching two separate sessions of its Leaf Learning: Cannabis and CBD Basics class through Santa Barbara City College’s School of Extended Learning, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Oct. 12 and 19.

Co-taught by the KopSun executive team of Tina Fanucchi-Frontado, Leigh-Anne Anderson and Amy Marie Orozco, each session will cover the same material of cannabis basics, such as THC vs. CBD, their various therapeutic properties, clearing the confusion of legality and availability, and learning what’s right for a particular person’s body.

“Attendees also will discover how to understand labels, dosing options, and methods of ingestion. We’ll talk about pricing and dispensaries, too,” said Fanuchhi-Frontado, KopSun CEO. “Each session is suited perfectly to those who have known cannabis for a long time or are curious newcomers.”

The Leaf Learning sessions will be conducted at the Schott Center campus. The course fee is $24. Find more info and register here. Leaf Learning is listed under the Culture category.

There will be no sampling or selling of cannabis products by KopSun LLC.

KopSun, based in Carpinteria, supports the cannabis lifestyle with education and advocacy. For more, visit www.KopSun.com, email [email protected], or call 805- 881-1218.

We study the effects of cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive component of cannabis that does not produce the high associated with smoking or using it."There is a lot of debate on the health effects of marijuana and the use of cannabinoids, which are a group of compounds found in marijuana that have anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, anti-nausea and anti-emetic properties. However, there is a lack of solid scientific evidence to guide us in the application of cannabis therapeutics."
